Giving and Tithing at St Mildred’s
Christians give as a response to the generosity of God, shown supremely in the gift of his Son, the Lord Jesus, as our Saviour. Recognising that all we have comes from him, we give as an expression of gratitude and trust in his provision.
As a church, we tithe the income we receive through gifts, setting aside 10% to support various projects and ministries outside our parish. This includes our mission partners and other initiatives that align with our commitment to sharing God’s love beyond our immediate church community.
For the Development Fund, 10% of all donations are also tithed to support projects outside St Mildred’s. This commitment was stated in our previous giving materials and remains an important part of how we steward these gifts.

We launched Easyfundraising in St Mildreds's two years ago, and it's been generating a steady stream of small payments into the St Mildred's Development Fund ever since. If you've been using it regularly when shopping online - thank you! If not, do please consider signing up by visiting the website.
