December 2025: We finally started work! We are very grateful to Lewisham Council for their assistance in the removal of the traffic island on the junction between Helder Grove and St Mildred’s Road, in order to enable large construction vehicles to access the Church site.
November 2025: We appointed Coleman & James, a family business based near Rochester, as our contractors. We are looking forward to working with the Coleman & James team.
July 2025: An exciting moment for St. Mildred’s when we received a grant of £137,000 from The Benefact Trust. Two weeks later we received our Faculty from Southwark Diocese.
June 2025: The south aisle roof work was completed.
February 2025: We were awarded a £12,508 NCIL grant from the Lewisham Council to install two, dual socket 22kw EV chargers.
